I am very proud and honoured to be the chair of Migraine Australia – an amazing volunteer-run, not-for-profit, patient advocacy organisation. One of our primary objectives is to raise awareness of the weighty nature of migraine disease. To achieve this, we have a fair amount of dialogue with the government and, in particular, the Health Department. This article, recently published by Pharma In Focus, talks about some challenges we have experienced in accessing some funds awarded in the last budget.
